Some studies also shows that cupping therapy is helpful to treat respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis and congestion .
At Luya Spa, you can experience authentic TCM cupping therapy procedures including flash cupping, moving cupping and final stage is to keep the cupping on the skin for about 10 minutes in order to remove the toxin from the body . The whole treatment takes about 30 minutes.
It is normal that there are some red or dark marks left on the skin after cupping therapy and they will disappear in 3-5days
After cupping therapy, it is important not to sleep late at night and drink cold water . According to TCM theory, having good rest can speed up the body healing after cupping.

Gua Sha therapy is a traditional Chinese healing technique that involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool ,tipically made of Jade,horn,or ceramic. The purpose of Guasha is stimulate the flow of Qi(vital energy) and blood circulation, release stagnant energy and promote healing .
During a GuaSha session, the practitioner applies oil or lubricant to the skin and then use the tool to scrape the skin in the specific areas,typically alone the meridians or acupuncture points. The scraping motion creats redness(petechiae) on the skin,which is believed to indicate the release of stagnation and toxins from the body .
